Hello, Thomas Nelson. Your bible-vending text about the International Children’s Bible says something untrue about the bible version. That version of the bible is a paraphrasing. The bible itself is certainly a storybook telling in every translation and in every subset of the original books except its null set.

God is able to take instruction and even to do what is commanded to him. Jesus told him to glorify his name, and he did it saying that he has done it and will do it again. He was instructed by Jesus and has never been a student of Jesus, a person who is described in the bible as attesting that he was taught by God. The International Children's Bible imposes upon children that the Book of Isaiah says God taught someone to listen like a student without adjacent mention that God himself is also a listener. Being a student is different from being instructed. God listens to children and hears them. He is not only a great king. He is also a concerned father. The International Children's Bible words of Isaiah 50:4 are corrected by God’s spirit with citation of version and chapter and verse. “He listens. He teaches me to listen like a student.” Isaiah did not speak English when he had his first son, and not every Israelite is hasty to spoils. The words, “he listens,” should be added about God to Isaiah 50:4 in the International Children's Bible in the manner here written.

Aramaic is not Hebrew. Hebrew and English exhibit different semantic construction. The same phrase in two different languages can present different ligands for a subsequent word to be added with grammatical correctness. The four Gospels describe in Greek phrases that were spoken in Aramaic. This does not mean Aramaic should be omitted as a source language of the Old Testament. Thomas Nelson is not a man!

The thirty-eighth chapter of the Book of Genesis says that Onan cast upon the ground rather than inseminating Tamar, a widow of his brother. She was a widow of Onan’s brother who passed away. Onan pulled out and ejaculated, and later passed away. Tamar had twins by Judah who has been recorded as an ancestor of Jesus. The International Children’s Bible renders Genesis 38:9 without specific mention of the ground or euphemistic verbal reference to semen. That verse in the International Children's Bible is less accurate than a paraphrasing.

The International Children’s Bible does not say a talented gold number in 1 Kings 10:14, and the conversion its text represents is inaccurate. A number represented with three significant figures in the Masoretic Text is represented with one significant figure in the International Children's Bible, and that figure is incorrect. Converting units and numbers in a united book that contains a Book of Numbers is something up with which Thomas Nelson has put. Luna is a moon unit.
